Our Story

 Deanna grew up on sweet treats like her grandma’s famous pound cake. She loved it so much she began shadowing her grandmother baking cakes for family and friends. During her high school career, she decided that the back seat wasn’t fitting for her. And began her journey baking delicious goods like; cakes, cookies, bars, and breads for her family and friends.

Time deepened her relationship with baking. After a few years of working on her craft it was brought to her attention that the pastries she was producing was marketable and she began selling her treats, Business was well until she made the transition to college.

Deanna took a step away from the oven because she didn’t have the time to decorate like she once did while focusing on her studies. Yet her soul longed for the aroma of baked goods to come from her kitchen. She wanted to begin business again but her first step was to find an approach appealing to young adults on a college campus.

​After careful brainstorming she came up with the idea of making cake jars. She loved the idea of making something affordable with layers of flavors. Within less than a month her jars became a hit on campus and Deanna’s Sweet Dreams took off. Deanna plans to continue to grow her business into something extraordinary.
